DANGEROUS GOODS BY SEA - FULL ACCEPTANCE - DARWIN
In this 1 Day course learn how to interpret and apply the International Maritime Dangerous Goods code and Australian Maritime Orders to shipments of hazardous material being sent by sea.
Shore-based personnel who pack, dangerous goods (including loading and unloading CTU’s), mark, label and/or placard dangerous goods or who prepare and sign dangerous goods documentation are required to do function specific training which is covered by this course.
It’s also ideal for freight forwarders and consolidators involved with sea freight, and anyone involved with the shipping of dangerous goods by sea.
Shore-based personnel who are involved with the handling or transporting of dangerous goods, but do not perform the above functions, require General Awareness level training.

In this 1 Day course learn what has changed between the current International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code and Australian Marine Orders (MO) and the new one. We remind participants of the IMDG requirements and highlight what will change in the new edition and how they need to be applied.
Personnel who have completed an AMSA approved, full accept course based on the current IMDG Code.
