Vaccine and Pharmaceuticals Supply Chain Guide 2020
With the discovery of, not one but several COVID-19 vaccinations on the horizon, the next phases will be manufacturing and distribution. Some of these products have incredibly stringent temperature control requirements so the logistics chain is really going to have to have it’s act together to make sure this super precious cargo remains viable to save lives when it gets to destination.
IATA has collaborated with ICAO, FIATA, IFPMA, PAHO, UKCAA, WB, WHO (not Dr), WCO and WTO (loving the acronyms) to develop a guidance document for vaccine and pharmaceutical distribution.
