Purpose

If you send batteries, particularly lithium batteries by air then this is the course for you. This course assists shippers of batteries, including lithium batteries on their own, and in or with equipment, to interpret and apply the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR) to shipments being sent by air domestically and internationally.
Full compliance with the Regulations and an understanding of the concepts behind them, and the associated Australian legislation, will ensure the safety of all who travel and protect shippers from unknowingly committing unlawful acts.
