Dangerous Goods By Air: Acceptance
- Three Day Course
Purpose
This course helps people interpret and apply the International
Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR),
which are pertinent for both domestic and international air transportation.
Full compliance with the Regulations, and an understanding of the
concepts behind them, will ensure the safety of all who travel by
air and protect shippers and their agents from unknowingly committing
unlawful acts regarding dangerous goods.
What you get
You will receive comprehensive training in the theory and practical
aspects of shipping dangerous goods by air. The course examines
all aspects of the IATA DGR and provides a systematic approach to
identifying and preparing hazardous shipments for air transport.
There are plenty of follow-up exercises to reinforce the knowledge
acquired. You're welcome to bring along material safety data sheets
(MSDS) if you wish to ask specific questions.
